Fix Your Credit!
A lot of people think budgeting when they think about improving their credit. They cut down on expenses and take all the fun out of their budget. I just really never liked that strategy, I always preferred looking for ways to save money on your regular bills. That’s one thing that I put into the six steps to better credit score. I put a bonus at every step with one way you could save money. Then use that money that you saved to pay down your bills every month. Go over to www.getloanready.com to get the free six steps to better credit score and then at the end of each step there’s an additional bonus of one way you can save some money on your regular bills.
Along those lines, I rented the tiny house here in Muskegon. It has very expensive electric heat and I’m cost conscious. I want to heat the cabin not necessarily with just electric heat. What are my options? I have an option right here with a home made space heater.
I’m going to show you how I made this space heater. Start with an old pan and then get two clay pots one bigger than the other with two bricks. put a quarter in the drain hole of the small pot. Do not put a quarter in the drain hole of the large pot because it will create too much heat. If the pots get too hot they can actually start fires. Don’t put a quorter on the the outside pot, just the inside. Then you light tea candles, so four are enough but because I am assistant scoutmaster of Troop 1037 I am going to use six candles. Now in a room like this it is not going to make a big difference. The first couple of nights I tried it, and I felt it was not going to work.
When I moved the heater into the bedroom it made a huge difference. When I closed the door in a small room it really heats this to the point that I can almost turn off the electric heat.
I don’t need to save money on the electric bill here but sometimes it can be fun to figure out creative ways you can save money. I put in the six steps to better credit score 6 ways that you can save money on your monthly bills. There is a bonuses at the end where you can improve your financial situation.
