SuperHero Credit Score. Can I get a credit report with a “itin” number?
This week I thought that we would have some fun with my five favorite superheroes and where I think their credit score would be.
Coming in at the bottom is Superman. Clark Kent is an illegal alien, lives in a house at the North Pole. He also works for a newspaper outfit as a Jr. Reporter. That probably isn’t paying a lot of money and he spends a lot of time thinking about Lois. You can not pull a credit report with ITIN or EIN number. You can attempt to and you may get some data back, but you’re not going to be able to do a lot with an invalid credit report. Superman comes in, unfortunately at zero or N/A credit score.
Next up is Spiderman. Peter Parker, lives at home, doesn’t really have a job, and sells a few photos to a newspaper, not a lot of income, bought that camera on credit, so he is probably missing payments, short credit history. He is a young guy. I will say that he comes in right at 550.
Next up is the Hulk. Bruce Banner is a scientist, he makes some pretty decent income, he is not a young guy, so his credit history is long enough but unfortunately he tends to go through these periods of time where he may not be making his payments promptly. Bruce has a pretty decent credit history, he’s probably missed a few payments from time to time. So I would have to say that he comes in right at about 600 to 650 is what I think the Incredible Hulk’s credit score is.
Next up is Iron Man. He has lots in assets; he’s got a long credit history but he’s got a lot of toys, he charges up those credit cards to the max frequently. Unfortunately he makes the payments on the due date. He has some clerical help making all the payments on the due date but unfortunately many times Iron Man’s credit report looks like all the credit cards are maxed out. The reporting date is not the same as the due date. So Iron Man’s score, I would say in the 720 level 740 Maybe. A very good credit score just not as high as it could be because he keeps maxing out all the credit cards on a monthly basis and not paying before the reporting date.
The superhero with the top credit score is Batman. Bruce Wayne works from home; he’s got the cave downstairs, paid off the mortgage a long time ago. He has old money, Batman, like Iron Man, likes to charge his credit cards to the Max but Bruce Wayne has Alfred. Alfred as been around the block once or twice and he knows how important it is to pay Batman’s bills prior to the reporting date. Using this strategy, Alfred gets Batman’s scores to be the best possible range every month. Bruce’s credit card balances appear much lower than Iron Man, so that’s why I’m going to give Batman the number one slot. Batcredit score over 800.
Just having some fun this week, thanks for tuning in! Can I get a credit report with a “itin” number?
